We’ve tested and sampled shisha tobacco leaf grown around the world including the United States, Poland, Canada, Thailand, and China but the German tobacco leaf always wins.
A thin leaf texture
is highly recommended for proper absorption capability. The range of nicotine is below 1 % to 1,5 % with sugars around 20 %.
The yellow colour, a result from flue curing, particularly of French and German Virginia types, gives the shisha tobacco its distinctive look.
It is not advisable to use tobacco which has distinct tobacco taste (e.g., Burley or other air-cured
tobaccos) because of their strong
and characteristic flavour.
